Fresh from supporting Periphery (US) and Tesseract (UK) on their League of Extraordinary Djentlemen tour’s sold out New South Wales leg, there is no sign of slowing down for Sydney metal rockers AS SILENCE BREAKS, having signed a US management deal and endorsement deals ahead of a trip to the US for a tour and to bunker down to record their second studio album.
A solid mix of Heavy Metal, Melodic Death Metal and Thrash Metal, AS SILENCE BREAKS will also be heading to the US in November to tour the West Coast and record their third album at the famed Lambesis Studios in San Diego, CA where metal favourites As I Lay Dying, Winds Of Plague, War Of Ages, The Human Abstract and many more have recorded their ground breaking albums.
News that the band has also just signed a world-wide exclusive management deal with US management and artist development firm, THE INNER LIGHT AGENCY, is impeccable timing.
With 6 years experience constantly touring Australia, AS SILENCE BREAKS have proven to be an unstoppable force in the heavy music scene. Their latest phase comes in the form of EP “The Inferno” (released June 17 2011 through New Justice Records) featuring the lead single “Shores Of Acheron” and the accompanying video clip. The video was shot over 3 days with director, Tashi Martel and is the first for the band. “We are really happy with how this video turned out and feel that Tashi has visually captured the energy we were after for this songs clip and given us a really professional final product,” said Sam Rilatt, the bands vocalist. Having released their debut self-titled album in April 2010 featuring ten tracks recorded at Electric Sun Studios with producer Dave Petrovic (Ash Phoenix, Cog, Bagster, Tyler’s Riot, The Vaine), As Silence Breaks have already got impressive touring history having supported US melodic hardcore favourites, For The Fallen Dreams, Whitechapel and For Today whilst also shared the stage with the likes of Thursday, Underoath, Taking Back Sunday, The Used, Killswitch Engage, Funeral For A Friend, Story of The Year and many more for the Taste Of Chaos festival.
“We are really excited about the next 12 months for us. With the video coming out, the tour and recording booked for November and December, the amazing new endorsements and teaming up with Thor Moreno at Inner Light Agency, we know we have an exciting time ahead and look forward to showing the world why we’re a Metal band that is here to stay and why you should check us out.”
