On an awe-inspiring stage for racing and in front of 42,000 noisy fans Team CP377 Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Christophe Pourcel was superlative to win the first moto by a massive one and a half minutes despite starting from 20th in the gate.

The track was as much of a character as the riders themselves on this first of two South American flyaways. The dusty conditions on Saturday even caused the riders to group together and sit out the qualification heats.

All four Monster-supported riders made the semi-finals in a tough battle in Prague, but it was Tomasz who hit the box once again.

Chris drew a blank in his first ride, admitting it was down to man not machine, but he stormed back in style after some wise words from his buddies and added to his previous wins in Cardiff and Gothenburg.
