Steven Frossard

Steven Frossard is on the path to resurrection. A return to the Kawasaki fold in 2014 brings a three year association with Yamaha to an end that involved one season of brilliance where he finished second in the world in his debut MXGP/MX1 term and then two years of injury frustration and misery. Frossard developed as a world-beater in the confines of ‘green’ and took his first GP win in 2010 on a KX250F in his final outing in the MX2 class. 2011 was emphatic, as he blended immediately with the sheer power of the Yamaha. Since then the Grand Prix scene has been denied the sight of ‘SF’ on the gas and smoothly clicking off the laps at the front of the field. A knee ligament injury and several small niggles interrupted his 2012 and 2013 championships and he has found solace and a slot in the arms of Kawasaki for another shot at stardom in 2014. 26 years old (27 in July) Steven brings experience and a flaming desire to reignite his career to the MXGP field this year. A determined individual with a dry sense of humour and easy character it would be dangerous to underestimate just how much the Frenchman wants success in ’14.
