The reigning IJSBA World Pro Runabout champion and Long Beach To Catalina And Back National PWC champion, Monster’s Craig Warner is the fastest thing going on Jet Skis. Around the sport for just over a decade now, Warner cut his teeth racing Jet Skis as a SoCal youth and won two World Championships in the Novice class at his first-ever IJSBA World Championships at Lake Havasu.
In recent years the Monster Army General has been one of the most dominant athletes on the IJSBA tour, winning back-to-back titles at the World Championships and Catalina To Long Beach And Back. To put the latter race in perspective, Warner averaged nearly 70 miles an hour – over choppy Pacific Ocean waters – for an hour on his custom Monster Energy/Kawasaki Ultra 260 Jet Ski®. With the IJSBA Worlds coming up in Oct., 09, Warner’s looking to defend that title. But prior to that he’s got a score to settle at the Sept. 3rd PWC Closed Course Nationals in Nashville, Tenn., where he’s looking for redemption versus rival Dustin Farthing after a lapped rider took Warner out last year.
