When he isn’t putting on show stopping demos, flipping his 400bhp Mitsubishi Evolution 9 onto two wheels, or ghost riding huge smoking doughnuts, stunt driver Terry Grant is teaching extreme driving at his own stunt school.
It’s always been this way with Terry. From the age of six, the Englishman was ripping around farms and open patches of ground in anything with wheels. It wasn’t long before Terry graduated to the track, racing in Hotrods and a huge different selection of saloon cars.
The jump to stunt driving came naturally to him, having been messing around with cars all of his life. Terry got a break perform a stunt with then F1 driver Johnny Herbert for a TV charity show. The hook was the part where Terry promised to leap from the moving car, and get back in. Something no-one had ever attempted before on live TV. As the tapes show, the stunt went flawlessly, and the rest is history.
Travelling all over the World, Terry has performed at some of the most prestigious events on the global motorsport calendar. From the ‘Race Of Champions’ in Paris and Barbados, to the TV studios of Guinness World Records in Madrid, and F1 expos in Russia. Whatever the challenge, Terry gives 100% to every fan, producer and promoter to ensure that whoever`s watching gets blown away with what they see. Now a holder of 15 World Records, Terry is widely regarded as one of the greatest performers in the business.
