Besides being the platinum/arena-level vocalist for Korn, Jonathan Davis has always had an affinity for spinning, and has done it since his high school days in Central California. “I was the only white boy in Bakersfield who could scratch back then,” he relates. In 2009, Jonathan has been gaining notice for his DJ skills and his critically acclaimed sets in the United States.

Multi-platinum recording artist KORN has redefined the parameters of heavy music, revolutionizing the genre with inventive guitar textures and rhythms, as well as the jagged introspective lyrics and intense vocal stylings of frontman JONATHAN DAVIS. Critics have praised his haunting and beautiful harmonies. Their new album, being produced by Ross Robinson (Korn, Life Is Peachy) is a return to the band’s old-school roots and will be out in 2010.

JONATHAN’s talents also extend to other musical realms. As an aspiring composer and producer, he teamed with Richard Gibbs to score the soundtrack for the Warner Brothers film Queen Of The Damned and has remade songs from the cult-classic The Nightmare Before Christmas, so DJing only comes naturally as another musical expression from JD.
