From the get go it was clear this would be a one run winner takes all race. As a low-pressure system inched its way closer bringing with it heavy rain and high winds ending all hope of running a two day event.

Josh Brycleland, aka Miama Bryce, has been killing it on the International Downhill circuit for years. After being crowned Junior World Cup Series Champion back in 2007, he’s been charging with the Monster DH team snatching tons of podiums along the way.

Following the Steel City legend from his hometown of Sheffield, to the sunny slopes of Italy and onto South Africa for Round 1 of the World Cup.

In the morning the track was fresh but a bit greasy after the past two days rain Sheffield had been seeing but come race time the track was drying out nicely seeing race runs come in at a much faster time than the qualifiers held in the morning.
