HÍREK

Profil Max

Max Anstie has motocross in the blood, thanks to his father Mervyn. The British teenager’s decision to form a formidable duo with Tommy Searle for CLS Kawasaki in the AMA West Coast Lites Supercross series and FIM MX2 World Championship means the Monster Army has another young and absorbing character in its ranks for 2011.

Anstie resisted the temptation to join the Grand Prix scene to ruffle the feathers of the Americans but the lure of a ride with CLS and the beneficial link with the all-conquering Pro Circuit set-up means that he will now split his priorities in the two biggest competitions for off-road motorcycle racing. Anstie’s first Pro campaign in 2010 yielded attention-grabbing results in the AMA supercross arena.

With his dad as a close advisor and great support, Max has learnt quickly and at the tender age of 16 already had his own column in the seminal MX publication ‘RacerX’. The ‘Anstie’ name is becoming more synonymous for its second generation of racing talent and Max has the chance to enforce the good words and goodwill forged by his efforts in the US on a much bigger platform for 2011.
