Tasters

Hailing from the beachfront town of Livorno, Italy, metalcore outfit TASTERS (formerly known as Taster’s Choice) blasted out of their serene surroundings touting a blend of metal riffing, punishing breakdowns, , melodic mixed to growl and scream vocals and electronics.
The band was formed in 1999 and released two full-length albums, “Shining” in 2005 (Shark Records/ Gencross Records) and “The Rebirth” in 2009 (Bagana Records) from which released the video of the single “Make Your Game”,directed by Salvatore”Xavy” Perrone, on air on the best Italian and European rock tvs.

During this period,Tasters built a respected name for themselves in the Italian Metalcore scene, opening for Cancer Bats, 30 Seconds To Mars,Sonic Syndicate, Evergreen Terrace, Terror,Aiden and other American bands who were touring abroad. When the time came to do something traveling of their own,from December 2009 Tasters started touring outside Italy, hitting United Kingdom with the Scottish metalheads Bleed From Within in December 2009 and as headliners in February/march 2010 and and touring Russia for three times with a total of more than 50 incredible gigs, becoming the foreign band playing more shows in the ex USSR territories and growing a huge fanbase in those areas.

At the end of 2010 the band released the video of “Please destroy this world”(by Salvatore “Xavy” Perrone) on BlankTV , first single taken from the band´s new full length “Reckless till the end”recorded mastered and mixed at Adrenaline studio in Livorno by the band´s singer and sound engineer Daniele Nelli and Davide Bitozzi.

Additionally in 2011 TASTERS again were invited to play in Russia for another tour of 22 shows. They drove the whole tour by van, doing more than 22.000 km from the North of Italy to Ukraine, Russia, Siberia and back! Like an award for all that hard work, playing tons of shows, producing videos, the new Album "Reckless Till The End", photoshootings, Artworks, social platforms, creating new ideas, changing ideas etc. TASTERS got their so much deserved record deal by Nuclear Blast. The Album was released worldwide in september 2011 and anticipated the release of a new videoclip for the song “Sleeping with Spirits” directed by Tom Welsh.Suddently the band attended a full european tour supporting the american label-mates Texas In July fastly growing its fanbase!
