Craig Baird

New Zealand born, Craig Baird is indisputably one of Australasia’s most successful racing drivers in current motorsport competition.

Since winning his first New Zealand National Kart Championship in 1974 at the age of 5 years old, Craig has won a record setting 23 National Championships in New Zealand and Australia.

Within his outstanding career Craig has established an impressive record of international success in single seater, sports cars, touring cars & Porsche racing in Malaysia, the Middle East, United Kingdom, South Africa, America, Europe, New Zealand & Australia.

Added to this are his exploits in the New Zealand Porsche Carrera Cup Championship, V8 Touring Car Championships, the Australian V8 Supercar Enduros plus victory in the Dubai 24 Hour GT3 event.

His off circuit activities include a long standing association with Porsche Cars Australia & New Zealand as a Senior Driving Instructor conducting customer training schools throughout New Zealand & Australia and he is a member of the current Network Ten television motorsport commentary team in Australia.

Craig has driven some of the world’s best cars including Ferrari, Porsche and BMW to achieve his international success on a world stage and was nominated Official Ambassador for Porsche Cars Australia.
