I was born in Brunswick, GA on June 26th, 1975. I lived there until I was 11, at which point I moved to Jacksonville Beach, Fl. I grew up surfing and skating and I picked up the guitar at age 15 and taught myself how to play Metallica, Megadeth, and Guns N' Roses songs. Those were my first influences. I started my first band around age 17 just as the whole Grunge movement started taking over. That was a highly influential period in my life and I've been in some sorta band ever since. Around 1997, one of my bands began playing with the then unsigned Limp Bizkit. This is where I made a friendship with Fred Durst. Of course, they went on to be huge and Fred came back wanting to sign my band. The band had broken up by then, but we stayed in touch. I moved to LA in late '99 and was introduced to Wes Scantlin. I joined Puddle of Mudd shortly after this introduction. We released our first record Come Clean in 2001 and followed it up with Life On Display in 2003. Tensions and musical differences caused me to leave in 2005. After this departure I recorded and toured with a band called Operator, which disbanded after this record and tour. I was basically just hanging at home, but I came back into the Puddle fold in February of '09. We released our latest record, Volume 4:Songs In The Key Of Love and Hate in December of the same year.
