First motorsport activities were started in go-kart, later in 2002 after buying Nissan RPS13 (the main car he is still using) autoslalom/gymhana. In 2002 there was no drifting in Ukraine, so Dmitriy is proudly honoured to be the 1st Ukrainian drifter.

He started drifting  on a place which is not very used for this,  improving on his own mistakes  and experience. In 2002-2005 Dmitriy had quite successful history in Dragracing, slalom and mini rally. However going sideways took special place in his view of motorsport…

Starting from 2008 together with first official drift competitions in Ukraine, the whole view changed to another higher level. In 2008 he won first Ukrainian Drift Series called “Dorifuto”, which consisted of 5 stages and was the biggest drift series in Ukraine till 2009. In 2009 Dmitriy was the first Ukrainian pilot who appeared in European series, he attended King Of Europe In Hungary and managed to get to top 8 where engine on his car was broken.

Car problems actually were always near. However starting from 2009 Dmitriy was constantly visiting drift events in Europe as there was much more drifting skill than in native Ukraine. In 2010 Dmitriy won 1st place in King Of Drift Slovakia. 2010-2011 he become vice-champion in Ukraine, as car problems still had their place on his road to 1st place. In 2011 he was the first Ukrainian to climb the podium at King of Europe Romania – 3d place. Few weeks later 2nd place in country/team ranking Battle of the Nations Poland.

2012 is not finished yet but absolute figures achieved are impressive: 14 starts,12 podiums, 6 gold, 6 silver, podiums in biggest European series: King of Europe ,Drift Allstars,Eastern European Drift Championship, and he is already crowned as champion of  EEDC 2012.
