David Philippaerts

With 2012 being a comeback year for the former MXGP MX1 overall champion following an injury, Philippaerts got out of the gate well and was going strong before a mid-season setback again sidelined him for the final seven rounds of the season. Still, based on the laurels of his strong MXGP performances in Mexico and Brazil, Philippaerts was able to score enough points to rank in the top 15 overall in the MX1 class at season’s end.
