Life can throw you for a loop. Suffering a life-altering crash on October 27th, 2010, thatleft him in a medically induced coma and in the hospital for over a month, TJ Lavin’s life has been filled with ups and downs ever since. But, the same drive to conquer that made TJ one of the most dominate dirt jumpers in the early 2000’s has turned tragedy into progression. Over three years later, TJ still rides BMX, although on a much more casual basis, and has found motivations in more giving aspects of life. When not hosting his 15th consecutive season of MTV’s The Challenge series, TJ gives his time to two charities: Project 150, that focuses on the 6,000 homeless kids going to high school in his hometown of Las Vegas, and Random Acts of Kindness Everywhere, that simply does as the name suggests by helping out at any given moment. Recently getting two licenses, one as an EMT and a WORCS Racing license, you can find TJ volunteering at his local hospital (if you ever meet TJ, ask for a story) or ripping an RZR at one of the WORCS stops across thecountry.
