Blink, and you might miss him! Hailing from Mammoth Lakes, California, Tyler Wallasch counts among the fastest riders on the global skicross stage. Fueled by a passion for all things snow and mountains (perhaps it’s his German heritage), he’s been dreaming of joining the US Ski Team since he was a little grommet. When it comes to skicross, Tyler loves it all: He’s an avid student of the sport and its pioneers. Ever since he made his debut at the 2012 FIS World Cup in Blue Mountain, he’s constantly evolved at a rapid clip. A hard worker and perfectionist, Tyler puts massive pressure on himself with an unstoppable drive to take it to the next level. It’s the kind of drive that won trophies at top-shelf events like the European Cup and the Australian New Zealand Cup. Not to mention a call to represent Team USA at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. When he’s not gunning it down the slopes, you can find Tyler diving into alpine lakes, ice skating, hiking, wakeboarding, and working on his helicopter pilot skills.
