The Monster Energy Honda Team, and new team rider Pablo Quintanilla, wrapped up an awesome win at the 1,666-mile Moroccan Rally last weekend. In Quintanilla’s first event aboard the Honda CRF450 RALLY, the 34 year old set a blistering pace, winning the final stage and taking his maiden win in Morocco in the process. Teammates Ricky Brabec, José Ignacio Cornejo, and Joan Barreda finished 4th, 10th, and 11th respectively overall.
The team’s main aim in participating in the penultimate race of the FIM Cross-Country Rally World Championship was to clock up as much mileage as possible in the grueling African desert, ahead of the 2022 Dakar Rally.
"I am very happy with the victory," said Quintanilla. "It was a very difficult week and I want to thank the whole team for the great job they did. It was fantastic for us!”
