Higher and higher! Chase Sexton’s rise through the Supercross ranks has been so fast, it’s worth taking a second to reflect on his accomplishments. From a young age, the native of La Moille, Illinois has felt at home riding dirt bikes. As a dominant force on the AM circuit, he garnered a spot on the GEICO Honda amateur program and earned the 2016 AMA Horizon Award. When he turned pro in the 2017 Monster Energy Supercross series, Sexton kicked his training into high gear – and results followed instantly: Riding with confidence and maturity beyond his years, he clinched the AMA Supercross 250 East Championship back-to-back in 2019 and 2020. In a personal milestone, the Factory HRC Honda rider took eight podium spots in nine races of the 2020 season with his signature plate #23. As the icing on the cake, he ended his season with his career-first 450 division win at the AMA Pro Motocross finale. In 2021, Sexton was ready to level up once again and bring the heat in his first 450 Supercross season as one of the youngest racers on the circuit. Undeterred by the competition, he scored a dominant victory in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Round 7 at Washougal MX Park. What’s next is anyone’s guess. But even at such a young age, Chase Sexton has proven his ability to perform under pressure, hold his own against the very best and rise to new challenges. This kid is only just getting started!
