The likeable and talented youngster from South Africa. Brother to Moto3™ World Champion Brad Binder. Making his debut into the World Championship in 2015 at the age of 17, Darryn went on to win a Grand Prix in Moto3™ and scale the box five times for a total of six trophies in his seven-season stay to-date. Labelled ‘one to watch’, 2022 saw Darryn become the second only rider in the history of the current Moto3™, Moto2™ and MotoGP™ structure, to leapfrog the intermediate class, straight into the 1000cc premier class. The South African’s brave move sees him join forces with Yamaha’s satellite team, RNF Racing, as he battles the best in the world and competes for the Rookie of The Year title.
