The Bloody Beetroots unleash new “My Name Is Thunder” video

Sep 142017

The Bloody Beetroots have just dropped an epic music video for the single “My Name Is Thunder” featuring Jet. The video features clips from a live performance and sets the perfect tone for the group’s upcoming Fall U.S. tour. “My Name Is Thunder” will be featured on The Bloody Beetroots’ forthcoming third studio album titled “The Great Electronic Swindle”, set to be released on October 20th.

When speaking about the song and the collaboration with Jet, Sir Bob explains “I knew this song needed a certain rock tone … a tone like Nic Cester of Jet had. We thought instead of someone ‘like Nic Cester,’ how about we get the real Nic Cester! Thinking he would be in Australia, it was fate that he lived just a couple hours away from me in Italy. I found him. We worked together, ate together, drank together and created something very powerful together. Around this time the Jet guys stared talking and thinking about getting back together, when Nic shared this with his bandmates, the idea came up to have ALL of Jet involved. Because of our different influences, we had different ideas on the mixing and from that, we came up with two versions. It’s the best of both our worlds!”

The Bloody Beetroots have collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music biz, including BRITNEY SPEARS, THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS, and the project that set it all off, the massive “WARP” with STEVE AOKI. To celebrate the release of the The Great Electronic Swindle” and “My Name Is Thunder” music video, Sir Bob Cornelius will be bringing his rock ‘n’ roll edged EDM production on the road in North America this fall. Fans can expect the best of both worlds, a light show and stage production that could easily rival the biggest stadium rock bands like The Rolling Stones and AC/DC, paired with the thumping bass and highly intense energy of a world class electronic dance music act.
