Garrett Gerloff was raised on a motorcycle. From the time he was four years old, he was racing around all the motocross tracks of south Texas, following the footsteps of his dad, a White Brothers World Vet Motocross Champion. Moving up from a Yamaha PW50 to the 85 by the time he was ten years old. After seeing an AMA Pro Road Race at Barber Motorsports Park, Garrett knew where his future would be. He received his first road race motorcycle in 2007 and never looked back. 2008 was his first year on the 125cc GP bike, and with so much competition, learned critical race skills from other opponents. This excelled him faster in the sport than he could have imagined and set him up to be a strong competitor for the 2009 racing season. A three-time SuperSport race winner early in his career, Gerloff became one of the top teenage racing. A broken femur at the beginning of his first full professional season in 2012 put Gerloff behind his contemporaries, but he bounced back strong, becoming the third-ranked DSB rider in 2013. Injuries have hampered Garrett in his first few professional seasons, but he has shown an unbelievable amount of potential in winning several races and consistently standing on the podium.
