Jared started racing with a PW 50 as his first bike at six years old, when his father got him into racing. Since then, he's raced almost every kind of motorcycle, but prefers flat track. He won the 2001 AMA Horizon Award, turned Pro Sport and won the Sportster performance championship in 2002, and he won the Grand National Championship in 2012, 2014 and 2015. For Jared Mees racing Flat Track is very much a family sport as his wife, Nicole Mees, is also a professional Flat Track racer and has been in the elite GNC1 class since 2007. Jared is quickly establishing himself in the record books as one of the most successful Flat Track racer of all time, and he seems to be still getting stronger.
