A 125cc world champion and winner of 16 Grands Prix, Alvaro Bautista hit new career heights in 2022 and 2023 when he used factory Ducati power to blast a groove through WorldSBK and become the fourth multi champion for the Italian brand since Superbike was created in 1988. Entering his fifth decade at the ripe age of 40, Alvaro boasts a packed CV at every level of international road racing. He made 159 MotoGP appearances for four manufacturers from 2010-2018 and then found his calling in WorldSBK for 2019 where he set a championship record for 11 successive wins: only a crash and a shoulder injury prevented him from trying to close the series in his first attempt. Glory with Ducati would beckon two seasons later and he still has the fire to compete as he goes for more silverware in 2025.
