Sara Price Wins Again | Stage 3 in Morocco

Published On:: 16/10/2023

Monster Energy’s Sara Price wins again! Price and co-driver Jeremy Gray win Rallye du Maroc’s Stage 3.

Monster Energy’s Sara Price (BFGoodrich/Can-Am) continued to flash her side-by-side racing brilliance, winning for the second time on the 2023 FIA World Rally Raid Championship’s Rallye du Maroc (Morocco) as she and her co-driver, Jeremy Gray, captured Monday’s Stage 3 (of 5) race – the 444 km loop originating in Zagora and finishing in Zagora.

The tight 24-second (3:48:26 to 3:48:50) victory over the Spanish Can-Am team of Joao Ferreira and co-driver Filipe Palmeiro moved Price and Gray, who also won Sunday’s Stage 3 of the Rallye du Maroc, into 3rd place overall podium position.

“Another stage win!,” Price told DirtFish.com, her team’s media partner for the Rallye du Maroc. “We had a flawless day. In the first part we had zero dust which was so nice; after that we had a lot of dust – which was kind of a bummer.

Price continued… “The rocks are so sharp out there and there’s a lot of them, it’s so nice to be able to trust the BF Goodrich tires. J (Jeremy Gray, co-driver) absolutely killed the navigation and now we’re in a really good spot.”

Next up on Rallye du Maroc is Stage 4, which will run from Zagora to Merzouga – a 75 km road section with a 336 km Special Section, totaling 426 km.

“Tomorrow’s a big day, probably the toughest of the rally with some difficult, technical roads,” she said. “We won today – but only just, so we still have our work cut out.”
