Egoitz Bijueska Wins Gold at World Skateboarding Tour Rome 2025

Egoitz Bijueska takes first in Men’s Skateboard Park at WST Rome 2025, with Arisa Trew and Cocona Hiraki also landing on the podium.

Monster Energy proudly congratulates Monster Army rider Egoitz Bijueskaon claiming first place in the Men’s Skateboard Park discipline at the World Skateboarding Tour (WST) World Cup Rome 2025. The 14-year-old phenom from Bilbao, Spain, stunned the crowd with a flawless final run, earning 94.50 points and the top podium spot in a fiercely competitive international field.

The WST World Cup Rome, sanctioned by World Skate, the official governing body for Olympic skateboarding, brought together the world’s top athletes from June 1–15 for elite-level competition in both street and park disciplines. This weekend’s park finals at the scenic Ostia Bowl in Lido di Roma showcased the next generation of skateboarding talent.

Bijueska’s Breakout Performance

In the Men’s Park final, Bijueska delivered a standout run packed with technical mastery and style. His winning line included:

  • Backside 540 melon
  • Backside Smith grind over the love seat
  • Alley-oop kickflip Indy
  • Blunt slide transfer over the channel
  • Cab 720 Weddle
  • Alley-oop backside air over the hip

The run earned him the highest score of the day and marked a major milestone in his young career.

Arisa Trew and Cocona Hiraki Shine in Women’s Park Final

In the Women’s Skateboard Park final, 15-year-old Arisa Trew from Palm Beach, Australia, secured second place with a powerful second run that scored 92.43 points. Her highlights included a McTwist, kickflip Indy, and a switch McTwist on the final wall.

Joining her on the podium, 16-year-old Cocona Hiraki from Hokkaido, Japan, delivered a clutch final run to claim third place with 91.62 points. The Olympic silver medalist’s run featured a backside kickflip, channel transfer lipslide, and a frontside Smith grind to feeble spine transfer.
