Introducing Cocona Hiraki

Published On: 4/15/2024

From a silver medalist on the World Stage to an X Games Gold medalist, this 15-year-old is really the REAL deal.

Meet Cocona Hiraki, a Japanese phenom who is no stranger to owning the podium. Despite her young age, this little hot shot has already achieved some incredible feats. From snagging silver in Skateboard Women’s Park at the Tokyo 2020 games at just 12 years old to becoming the youngest Japanese Olympian in summer competitions, Cocona has a wild track record that speaks for itself.

At the early age of five, Cocona hopped on a skateboard, and by the time she was nine, she was already so close to claiming a top spot at the Japan National Championships. But Cocona had bigger dreams. Not content with garnering local attention, she packed up her board and headed to the Vans Park Series Asia Continental Championships, where she outshone the competition and took the champion title. Now, she's eyeing that shiny gold medal at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. With a Monster Energy team status under her belt, she's geared up and ready to shred harder than ever before. Check out our latest footage of Cocona showing off her crazy skills at various SoCal skate parks.
