BIOGRAFÍA

He’s a Kiwi ripper with surf and skate-inspired style and an international background to boot! Born and raised in Christchurch, Garcia-Knight owes his Latin name to his Spanish father, who emigrated to New Zealand from the town of Cadiz. And he owes his signature flow to the fact that he’s equally at home at the beach and skatepark as he is on the mountain. In 2015, he made his competitive breakthrough by clinching silver in the FIS Snowboard Junior World Championships. After several podiums in the big leagues, he represented NZ in the 2018 Winter Olympics and advanced all the way to the final in Men’s Slopestyle. But the full power of Carlos’ all-terrain approach shines outside the contest arena. For instance, throughout his heavy-hitting ‘Ruckus’ video part that captures Carlos sending it big across street, park, and backcountry terrain. When he’s not out there breaking boards and smashing handrails, he’s refining his skills as a lensman behind the camera. Whatever the output, coming from Carlos Garcia Knight, you know it’s going to be stylish and memorable!
