Monster Energy attending 2015 Canadian Music Week

2016-07-14 thru 2016-07-17

Every summer since 2009, the alternative music festival Devilstone gathers thousands of people in a town called Anykščiai in Lithuania, more specifically – in Dainuva valley. Among all music festivals in the Baltics, Devilstone is distinguished for its diversity: the festival’s programme offers high-end and trending rock music together with exquisite extreme metal. A wide selection of genres includes anything from straightforward rock’n’roll to hard-to-define musical experiments. Each and every one band in Devilstone’s lineup is relevant to current music trends, desirable, creative, and professional.

Devilstone is four days of live music; thirty-five to forty bands perform on four stages from Thursday to Sunday. Numerous artists both from neighbouring countries and the farthest corners of the world entertain the audience every year, along with the best local alternative acts. Devilstone also cares about self-expression and relaxation of its guests: art exhibitions and performances, separate zones for chilling out or partying all night guarantee new discoveries and help to familiarize with various forms of alternative culture. Originality and unconventional decisions are central to the festival’s entertainment schedule.

Taking place in Anykščiai, Devilstone is appealing not only because of its content, but for its high-standard infrastructure and safety, as well as for its extraordinarily positive and magnetic atmosphere. Action begins just upon entering the gates and continues even at the other end of the valley, on the riverbank. Dainuva valley is the perfect place for an open-air festival: it is sunny, green, with needed shade from the trees and refreshing water of the river.

Devilstone is a summertime resort of with a unique vibe, worthwhile every minute spent there even if you accidentally sleep over a band you like. There is plenty to hear, see, and be excited about; there are more than enough unforgettable experiences to last until next summer. Rock’n’roll!
