The fact that there are things in the night was already known to Mati Unt, when in 1990 his same name novel was released. What he did not know, however, is that on September 30, 2017, these things are video games.
MängudeÖÖ is one of the Estonian largest event series dedicated to video games and virtual reality, which origins can be traced to year 2010. Over the years MängudeÖÖ has given its visitors the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest foreign and local video games, compete in various tournaments happening at large cinema screen, take part in lectures that reveal the behind the scenes look in to the game industry and discover the virtual reality.
Both experienced gamers as well as a person getting acquainted for the first time with the medium will be guaranteed to find things to do in MängudeÖÖ. All this in the free and open environment with pleasant music playing in the background.
For the first time in the history of the event, it is possible to compete in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament, where teams who made it to the finals will fight for all fame, glory and 1000 € prize pool.
In addition to the aforementioned, the Tekken 7 competition will take place on the cinema screen, as well as few surprise tournaments. The area for just playing has increased and several live streams will be shown from the event. The most popular streamers in Estonia will also make an appearance.
Forget the sleeping for one night because the games need to be played!
