SA BIKE FESTIVAL 2018

2018-05-25 thru 2018-05-27

ABOUT

The AutoTrader SA Bike Festival, powered by Discovery Channel, is now the market-leading annual showcase in the SA motorcycling calendar and the third instalment returns to the legendary Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit from 25-27 May 2018.

Organisers are delighted to announce that TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW for the largest motorcycle festival in Southern Africa and visitors can again expect another huge variety of the newest biking trends from the world’s top brands alongside live music, test rides, training courses, 2-wheel action and stunts, Joburg’s favourite food trucks plus the best in lifestyle and merchandise. The three-day event attracts over 20 000 riders, collectors, motoring enthusiasts and their families from all over the country for one extraordinary weekend where consumers can be entertained and educated as well as learn, try and buy from a multitude of manufacturers and brand leaders, meeting the experts face-to-face.

This year, Monster Energy will be returning with an even bigger and better spectacle of death defying tricks from Alastair Sayer and the very best FMX riders with TWO epic night-time performances taking place on the Kyalami GP Circuit starting grid!

As the sun goes down at 18h00 on Friday and Saturday, the circuit will transform into a mash up of Freestyle Motocross (FMX), fiery pyrotechnics, electrifying lighting, sizzling Monster Girls and fascinating fire throwing in an acrobatic phenomenon aptly named FLIGHT NIGHT! For those attending on Sunday 27 May, the FMX show will take place at 10am on the Starting Grid straight after the Sunday Charity Ride and before the Circuit Test Rides kick off.

Plus another exciting addition to the Le Riche Trial Biking Show – with one of SA’s top drifting athletes, Jason Webb, joining the performance with his epic Roush Ford Performance 5.0L supercharged V8 Mustang once a day. Together, they will create the most sensational 2-Wheel vs Drifting demonstration South Africa has ever seen!
