Join us in Sölden, Austria on April 14th for the Audi Nines 2018 Public Contest Day, a culmination of the week's photo and film sessions with some of the world's best freestyle athletes showing their best riding the unique and innovative SlopeX course!
Get ready to be blown away... the course is looking out of this world!
Designed and built by the ultimate the Schneestern crew, they have outdone themselves with the sharp lines and crazy obstacles that we usually expect, but this time with a twist! The SlopeX course combines Ski and Snowboardcross elements with Slopestyle features and riders from both disciplines are stoked: “This event will have the craziest set-up so far,” Sebbe De Buck actually had a hand in designing this year’s course.
With a length of 900 meters and a vertical drop of 200 meters, it is the longest and biggest course in the history of the event series.
Swedish Slopestyle Olympian Emma Dahlström was also involved in the course design, and admitted that after a long and exhausting season she’s hyped to riding with friends and trying new tricks in a safe environment. The best professional snowboarders and skiers in the world will descend upon the Austrian Alps to session the features for a week and then turn it up for the public contest day on the 14th of April when they will compete together on the same set- up for the first time.
