Adrien Van Beveren

France France

Adrien Van Beveren was already an off-road motorcycle racing ‘bright light’ before he morphed from a superlative sand rider into an authentic Dakar Rally prospect. The Frenchman won the prestigious Enduropale Le Touquet beach race three years in a row while also casting an eye on perhaps the most difficult and dangerous contest of them all in South America. Adrien received plaudits for grabbing sixth position at his first attempt at the 9000km two-week Dakar in 2016 and only just missed out on a maiden podium finish in his second try. A friendly, determined and young athlete, ‘VBA’ is just as happy wowing crowds in Argentina with his Enduro acumen and then appeasing fans on one of his frequent turnouts at MXGP as a spectator. Among a raft of special riders from France, Adrien is one of the country’s most versatile and treasured.
