The women’s slopestyle field has been steadily getting deeper and more talented every month. And a part of that new wave is Switzerland’s Giulia Tanno. The Swiss miss seemingly came out of nowhere in the past couple season to position herself favorably for the 2018 Olympics, notching a win at the Nine Queens contest as well as podiums at several FIS World Cups. And while a lot of ladies show technical skill or stylish riding, Giulia is one of the rare few who are blending both, for a new prototype of women’s slopestyle skier. She’s not here to just push the other ladies, she’s here to take their place on top.
