POTISEK AND KELLETT STORM THE BEACH: LE TOUQUET 2022

After the win, Milko told us: “It’s a great feeling to get a third win here at Le Touquet! I live in the north of France, so I have a lot of people cheering for me. To start as the previous winner, with the red plate on my bike brought a lot of pressure - but we managed to get through and make it happen! It’s incredible! A huge thanks to everyone that supported me through the weekend.”

Todd Kellett added: “The 46th Enduropale Le Touquet was my third time at the event. It was a tough race but we have made good progress this season and we have lots of positives to take away from it. I put up a fight for the first 2 1/2 hours, changing places with Milko for 1st and 2nd but unfortunately a few too many crashes with slower riders meant he made a gap in the last 30 minutes. I’m not satisfied with 2nd place but I am pleased with the way I managed the race this year and the experience I have gained being able to run with the now, 3x winner, Milko for that long. I’ve had a fairly good season in general so to take Vice-Champion in the championship for the second year is positive too. 2nd place is a tough one to take but it only makes me more hungry for next year.”
 

The 46th running of the Enduropale Du Touquet is the brainchild of Thierry Sabine - creator of the legendary Paris-Dakar Rally. Having been inspired by the mass Enduro events in the USA, Sabine’s first edition of Le Touquet, held on the shores near Calais in Northern France, attracted 286 riders in 1975.
