
2020 was a year of many things. It was the year we learned just how many things you can get delivered to your home. It was the year we all became phenomenal (or not!) home cooks and bartenders. It was the year of business-up-top, pajama-pants-below Zoom meetings. It was the year of dance challenges, bread baking, and DIY haircuts.
But most of all, 2020 was the year of the livestream.
At first, they kicked off as impromptu Facebook Live or Instagram Live performances that took place in artists’ living rooms. As the weeks and months went on, livestream performances exploded into full digital concert experiences…and no one elevated the experience more than Monster Energy Music with events like Monster Energy Outbreak Tour: LIVE ON LOCATION and The Up & Up Welcome Back Virtual Festival.

California rapper Yung Pinch rode the wave of livestream concerts early on, taking to his backyard to deliver a tropical-themed set that included favorites from “Beach Ballin’” to “Looking 4 Existence.”
