Already hailed as one of the greatest pound-for-pound fighters in the history of mixed martial arts, Valentina “Bullet” Shevchenko is an unstoppable force in the Octagon. Her diverse fighting style and accurate fight IQ are only surpassed by her determination to be the best. For the past years, the former pro Muay Thai fighter from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, has been ruling the UFC Women’s Flyweight division as the undisputed champion. Along the way, the Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian fighter has overcome injury, adversity, and a revolving door of the world’s toughest opponents – and still remains undefeated. The fighting talent runs in the family: Her mother, Ellein Shevchenko, is President of the Kyrgyzstan Muay Thai Federation and recently became the sport’s shadowboxing World Champion. And together with her older sister, fellow UFC fighter Antonina Shevchenko, Valentina recently made history at UFC 255 for the first time that two sisters competed (and won) on the same UFC card. Speaking of history, Valentina Shevchenko is focused on becoming the greatest 125-pound champion the UFC has ever seen, and we’re here for every minute of it!
