Derek Kolbaba

Derek Kolbaba, has made his name on network television by becoming one of the winningest riders when competing in the 15/15 Bucking Battles on CBS. It did not come as a surprise for those who have followed him closely when Kolbaba used a pair of back-to-back wins the 15/15 late in the 2020 season to ride his way back into the Top 10 of the PBR world standings. After all, the Walla Walla, Washington native won his first 15/15 Bucking Battle as a young rookie in 2016. He has been riding bulls since childhood, aiming to take after his father as a professional bull rider. His dream not only came true, but Kolbaba has been one of the world’s top riders for the past five years, including 2017 when he finished second in the world to fellow Monster Energy rider Jess Lockwood.
