In his early years Adam Kerenyi was involved in motorsport, as his father bought him his first motorbike at the age of 5. His whole childhood was full of motorbikes and racecars. In the beginning, Adam began to drive go-carts in Kecskemet, where he learned the basics in racing from Hungarian legendary go-kart expert, Janos Kesjar. After a few years in racing go-carts he returned his focus to motorcycles and rode his bikes as fast as possible! He was always a big fan of extreme sports and adrenaline. Adam started to practice as an amateur street fighter with his self made GSX-R 750. In these years he also participated in amateur rallies and slalom races with his BMW E30.
Drift officially appeared in Hungary in 2006 and he managed to drift to the second position in the championship. After this season his drifting career just began and he bought his first professional BMW with a 4.4l V8 engine. With this car together he won his first title, and became Hungarian drift champion. He also had a few more top results in international races like King of Europe and International Drift Challenge. In 2008 Tomi Workshop built a brand new full drift spec E36 for him with an M5 engine, which included extreme modifications.
In 2009 Adam won the Hungarian championship again and dominated in the King of Europe series where he earned the KOE champion title.
In 2010 Adam participated in the King of Europe international series, which was organized in 7 different countries. At the end of the season Adam finished second overall. The first DOTZ Drift Battle was organized earlier this year in the Czech Republic, where Adam finished with the highest result and stood on top of the podium.
This year, Adam continues to race in the King of Europe Series, where he already won the first event so far this season!
