Hi Danny! Your roots are actually from FMX. How does the freestyle scene in Switzerland look like today?Back in the days Freestyle in Switzerland, either FMX or BMX, was really small. Now the younger generation is slowly getting more and more interested in Freestyle again and starts stepping in. We already have got some good Swiss athletes. Since 20 years I am part of Swiss Freestyle sport and I am still trying to push it. Masters of Dirt is coming back to Switzerland though the show will be in Bern for the first time. How does MOD fit with Bern?Bern has got one the biggest European Ice hockey fan bases. The fans of hockey are pretty much the same kind of characters as the fans of Masters of Dirt. Both types of sport are really dangerous. Masters of Dirt is no carnival at all. These guys are risking a lot to offer the crowd an amazing show. This means training really hard. Besides, PostFinance Arena is a perfect venue for this event.

What are you looking forward the most in terms of Masters of Dirt Bern?First of all I am really happy about being part of the show. 13 years ago I was riding an FMX-show here in Bern. Coming back on stage in Bern means a lot to me. It is just an awesome feeling being one of the riders of this amazing show. How would you describe Masters of Dirt in your own words? Action, fun and attraction! Masters of Dirt consists of a great variety: FMX, MTB, BMX, Snowmobile, Quad and of course the Fuel Girls.

Having a closer look at your personal time schedule for this year? What kind of projects will be taking place? Oh, there is a lot coming up. I will be in e.g. Prague for a filming project also will be heading with my bike to Sweden, being present with Monster Energy at the Speedway GP. Additionally I am travelling to USA, riding with my bike from L.A. to Nashville where I will meet YelaWolf for another filming project. Yeah and in the meantime I have got several orders in terms of building custom bikes. I guess this year is pretty fully booked.
