Q & A

How did you first get interested in CS? When did you start to take the game more seriously and play competitively?

I started playing Counterstrike when I was around six years old. My brother was already playing the game. I would just sit behind him and look at how he played. I started playing professionally in 2015. I joined Awsnomniac and after that, I grew up in the ranks. I played with my friends at another team after that, then went to LDLC, and now I’ve joined EnVyUs.

When was the first event that made you decide to go full time and dedicate yourself fully to CS?

The first event that got me was probably ESEA, the ESEA Finals here in America, in Burbank.

Talk a little about your experience on LDLC. You worked with another brilliant strategist, Ex6Tenz, and saw some strong results with the team. How valuable was that experience for you?

It was a really good experience to play with a great player like Ex6Tenz. He taught me a lot of things about the game. It was just a really, really good experience.

What was it like to be first approached by Happy and asked to join the new roster? Did you ever expect to be handpicked by the greatest IGL in France?

I was just like “Woah! I’m going to play with Happy!” And then I found out I might play with Scream as well! It was just a big moment, that I would get to play with Happy, one of the best players in France. It really motivated me to continue. To be honest, I didn’t really expect this to happen.

Obviously, you’re the new kid on the block, with only a handful of years under your belt. Do you think that other players underestimate you because of your relative youth?

Yeah. I think that because I’m new, some do. If I’m on a position, on let’s say Inferno, I’m a new professional player, so they know I don’t have the experience in defending a position. So they think that they can just come B and swarm it.

How has your experience with EnVyUs been?

It’s been a good experience. I’ve learned a lot under Happy and the rest of the team. Everyone has been working with him to help him get better and improve on everything: Aim, positioning, techniques. Overall it’s been a great experience.

What are your hopes for the future of the team?

In this season, I want to be on the top 20 of HLTV. For the team as a whole, it’s simple. I want us to be the best in the world.
