2017 Vans Warped Tour Wrap Up

Jul 072017

The dust is finally settling as Vans Warped Tour 2017 came to a close just a moment ago. The USA’s longest running and most famous punk rock festival tour is notorious for it’s ‘back yard’ style settings keeping true to it’s punk rock roots. This year Monster Mutant Super Soda teamed up with Vans Warped Tour to bring you 2 brand new stages branded the “Mutant Party Zone”. The intention of the Mutant Party Zone was to showcase the finest talent in Heavy Music! Whether you made it to one of the 39 stops or not, Monster Energy is proud to give you a taste of exactly what the Mutant Party Zone had to offer, and why it has earned that name.

Jamey Jasta and Hatebreed owned the Mutant Party Zone, headlining many of the shows and getting the mosh pit started in true hardcore fashion. Jasta has always been a pioneer of the genre and his ability to command an audience is unparallelled. Hatebreed pulled some classics out of the vault performing a number of songs from their 1997 debut full length “Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire” like Empty Promises, Burial For The Living and Last Breath. If that didn’t get the pit spinning, then Perseverance’s Proven certainly did!

Another Monster Energy favorite, Andy Black headlined the Journey’s Right Foot main stage. A relatively new solo project for Black Veil Brides lead vocalist and frontman Andy Biersack, Andy Black offers a more melancholic yet upbeat approach to the stage. His singles “We Don’t Have To Dance” and “Ribcage” had the entire crowd jumping all summer long. Andy sat down to speak to us during the tour, you can read the entire interview here.
