2017 X Games Aspen - Recap

Monster Energy athletes dominated this years X Games Aspen. The team of snowboarders, skiers and snowmobilers took home a total of 11 medals. From the first event to the last, each athlete brought the heat and stuck some of the craziest tricks on snow. Check out the daily video recaps and hightlights here.

Max Parrot took gold in Snowboard Big Air and made history by landing a first ever-quadruple cork underflip earning him a second gold medal.

 

Jamie Anderson took home her 12th silver-medal in Women’s Snowboard Slopestyle 

 

Alex Bealieu-Marchand scored his first X Games medal placing him third in Men’s Ski Slopestyle. 

 

Joe Parsons, took home another gold medal in Snowmobile Freestyle with a never seen before trick making him the first snowmobile rider to win gold two years in a row, rounding him up to 16 medals total.

 

Chloe Kim took bronze in Snowboard SuperPipe. 

 

Giulia Tanno, the first female to stomp a 1260, earned a bronze medal in the inaugural Women’s Ski Big Air.

 

James Woods earned his first ever X Games medal, earning gold in Men’s Ski Big, He also took 4th place in Men’s Ski Slopestyle. 

 

Henrik Harlaut took silver marking his 4th Ski Big Air medal.

 

Brett Turcotte took home silver in Snowmobile Best Trick with a technical backflip variation, and was joined on the podium by his teammate Joe Parsons who took bronze.
