The 2019 FIM Motocross World Championship ventured to the depths of Indonesia for the Grand Prix of Indonesia and Asia in a back-to-back oriental stint of the calendar. In a country where manufacturers sell millions of two-wheelers each year and the motorcycle is an essential way of life for many on the roads, MXGP was a fascinating draw for the public both at Palembang and Semarang

The latter – the second year that the jumpy, fast and spectacular track invited the best of the world championship – was a special stage and where Monster Energy Yamaha prospered with Arnaud Tonus and Jeremy Seewer making the MXGP podium behind winner Tim Gajser.
