Riders and media met already day before for a press conference and track tour guided by the organizer, participant and creator of the track Filip Polc. The main topic of the press conference were safety issues as last year’s race has been disrupted by march of neo-Nazis, who demolished the fences and invaded the track. This year, the organizers were well-prepared and enhanced police patrols around the castle to ensure uninterrupted course of the event throughout the day.
The track started at the Bratislava castle continuing with few drops to the stairs followed by huge drop from castle’s fortifications straight to another couple of drops with waves between them. The track followed by more crazy drops curves and stairs, where the riders reached speed up to 70 kph, into the finish line at the Rybné square.
