CHRISTIAN HALLER : NEW WORLD RECORD AT NINE KNIGHTS

Hitch Haller had an extraordinary week at the Suzuki Nine Knights, setting a new World Record of the biggest air over a Hip on a snowboard. We had a chance to sit down with the man of the moment and chat about his week, and of course, owning the new world record holder title.

'I’m happy that Nico wanted to build a Hip, because I am a transition rider. It´s so cool to have a feature like that, as I have never hit such a big hip before. I actually think, it is very safe and we are just having a good time.'

'The sessions are so intense, as you want to go very fast and very high. So this was my first proper session. This is also a thing, you want to hit over multiple days and get a feeling of it. Then go completely nuts in the last day.'

'It´s so hard to tell, because every angle looks so different. So, it is hard to tell who actually went bigger. I just wanted to go big and progress my self. I also wanted to get the really good photo and just got that perfect air.'
