John McGuinness competing on Saturday 6th at the 2015 Isle of Man TT

Countdown to the TT 2016!

May 092016

We are now in the one-month countdown to the most exciting race on earth! The Isle of Man TT!With John McGuinness lined up to break the world record, this is going to be one hell of an exciting week. The 23 times Isle of Man TT winner will be riding with Honda again to move closer to the late Joey Dunlop’s all time record of 26 wins! Winning both the Senior race and TT Zero Class in 2015 alongside setting a new absolute course record of 132.701mph, we cannot wait to see what will happen this year!Ian Hutchinson, winner of three races at the TT in 2015 will be riding for Keith Fint’s Team Traction Control Yamaha team. Having had a great start to the season with a podium at Silverstone, and countless 127mph+ laps in the class already Hutchy is sure to impress this year at the TT also! Micheal Dunlop is another rider to look out for, after being forced to retire out of both races last year due to a sholder injury he still holds the class lap record at close to 129mph and could prove to be Hutchy’s biggest threat!Throughout the event Monster Energy have some pretty exciting things lined up. From various competitions throughout the week to bag yourselves some sweet goodies, to a Monster pop up cinema, daily Mayhem shows, a chance to hang out with some of your favourite riders, a chance to meet the legends of the TT and so much more! This year`s IOM TT Launch will be streamed live from Villa Marina in Douglas on the 14th of April. You can catch the banter between the riders as they predict outcomes, relive old rivalries and take a look back at their 2015 campaigns. Stay up to speed on everything IOM TT at: @iom_tt #IOMTT.
