Crown the Empire is staying busy after extensive touring in Europe and the U.K with a return to United States for a cross country tour. They are set to return to the United States on July 15 in St. Louis to start off another round of performances. The rockers will bring their unique heavy and anthemic tones across the country over the last half of July into early August, continuing to bring fans their best music to date. The band has been working hard to produce some incredible music in their latest album “Retrograde”.
In an interview with lead vocalist Andy Leo and drummer Brent Taddie, they express how the group has been progressing their music and pushing their creative limits. Taddie says, “Just constantly creating feels good instead of just tour and then write. We’re just constantly writing for probably the first time.” Leo nodded, adding, “It feels good. This is the most productive, I think, we’ve been in a minute… Knowing why we’re doing this and having everybody on the same page is like the best mental space we’ve been in in years.”
