Dan Hanka is finally back after two years of tough treatment of knee injury and just released his new Good 'Ol Ski edit that is as he says, rock´n´roll and style combined with technical tricks.
During first part of filming Dan went on a month long roadtrip to America. He started his journey in LA where he bought a classic 93 American Chevy G20 van, in which he lived and travelled across America for a month, through the inland over to national parks and all cool places on the way to north to Mt. Hood in Oregon (place where the famous film Shining was shot). He stayed for a while shooting both skiing and in-line skating at the famous Windells camp. He later returned to LA, where he left his car for other friends to borrow and use for similar trips. Second part of the edit takes place in Swiss Zermatt snowpark, where he spent another three weeks.
“A summer project that came out of nowhere during my trip to America - Good 'Ol Ski Edit has been filmed by many people with lots of different cameras with different settings, and it's all about skiing and a good vibes, like it was with ski edits back in the days. This is somewhat of tribute to the times, when people were shredding together and filming each other, hustling with the shots afterwards to make something out of it. This has been sure a bit of a hustle... But it was all worth it and I hope you guys will enjoy it... and most importantly... that it'll make you want to do out there and shred“ said Dan.
