DARKFEST DOCUMENTARY- GLOBAL ITUNES AND AMAZON PRIME RELEASE OUT NOW!

In 2021 we invited legendary filmmaker Haydon Brown to capture the event and show the makings of Darkfest through a fresh perspective. During a year of Covid restrictions, the event managed to be the most successful and ground-breaking yet. Huge crashes, world records, many trips to hospital and some classic darkfest memories were made. Definitely one for the history books!

A brief synopsis of the film by filmmaker Haydon Brown:

An exciting UK road trip with Sam Reynolds and friends in 2012, quickly evolved into an annual world class mountain bike freeride gathering on the mountainous slopes of Stellenbosch, South Africa. The artisan
building and daunting jumps beckon to many a thrill seeker. Athletes from across the world are invited to come shovel some dirt with Sam and showcase their riding talent. Filmmaker, Hayden Brown, documents the riveting story of camaraderie, death defying jumps,
athleticism and world breaking records that not only landed Darkfest in the history books, but has established it as a one of a kind experience!
