David Budko Summer on the BMX

In the end of April David attended one of the biggest BMX event in the world - Simple Session, which was the first bigger competition this season for him.

Next thing was FISE in Montpellier, France together with a handful of Monster Energy teammates like Kevin Peraza, Pat Casey and many more… David met up with his fellow BMX rider and one of the most promising young video producers from Lithuania - Karolis Jonikas.

Together they were filming on the beautiful streets of Montpellier for a new David Budko video project. Karolis has produced few of David’s videos from the past, like ‘Wandering in London’ and ‘In Barcelona we trust’. Check out his YouTube channel here: JonikasMedia

After his trip to France, David said: “I have been in Montpellier many times already and each time this city amazes me. Such a beautiful scenery combined with impressive action sports and more than 200 000 people is a thing to watch and enjoy. This time we have met a couple of Lithuanian brothers here: Artūras, Eimantas and Juozas, which was really cool.”

“Unfortunately, we did not have enough time in France to film a full video section, so we’re gonna save these clips and shoot some more during the summer. Next we have a very important local project - STILLBMX tour across Lithuania. Seven BMX riders will go on a journey to discover new spots in smaller towns across the country, meeting the locals and much more. Everything will be filmed by Karolis Jonikas so you can expect some sick footage after the trip.” added David.
