Tyre slaying and limiter bashing were the order of action last weekend, as Drift Allstars rolled into the eponymously named Reisbrennen (Rice burning) Festival.
Hosted on the legendary blacktop of the Lausitzring – where everything from ChampCar to DTM, World Superbike, and Gymkhana GRiD has shredded the tread – the event also marked the debut of championship turning wheels in Germany.
The yearly event, sees one of the largest gatherings of Japanese rides assemble in one place on European soil, as well a bumper haul of track time and horsepower in the mid summer sun. It was naturally the perfect opportunity for DriftAllstars to host the penultimate round of their 2016 championship, and put on a show for the 30,000 strong crowds.
